Ultra-high-efficiency three-phase variable-frequency permanent magnet synchronous motor must be used in combination with a vector frequency converter. The rotor of this motor features an embedded permanent magnet structure and has a certain salient pole torque. When paired with a frequency converter that uses a maximum torque/current ratio control method, the motor achieves a high power factor across the full speed range, with low no-load and operating currents, and reduced copper losses. The embedded permanent magnets in the rotor ensure synchronous operation of the rotor and stator magnetic fields during normal operation, eliminating induced currents in the rotor winding, rotor resistance, and hysteresis losses, thereby improving motor efficiency. When operating under a load range of 35% to 120%, the motor maintains high efficiency and power factor, delivering significant energy savings.
